More boring stuff about my life....A couple friends mentioned to me in person that I have been slacking off in updating my blog. You guys are right, I'm a slacker. :D
I've been busy with work. This month is better in that I am getting more time off than in the past few months.
Tomorrow I will be going down to Amarillo again. Fun stuff. I actually enjoy road trips. I told work to pick me first for the out-of-town work because I have no spouse, no pets, no children; basically no obligations at home. They told me to expect some trips later this year that are away from home for more than 30 days! That should be fun.
There's been a lot of drama at work recently. Basically, a woman I currently work with is married to a man I used to work with at The Other Job(tm). Over There(tm), I knew that he was cheating on her. I never mentioned it to her because we were just coworkers who really didn't deal with each other very much.
And then it happened: she came up to me and asked me very specifically if I knew anything about her husband cheating on her. I wasn't going to lie to her, so I told her what I knew. I told her if she wanted to find out if it was true, to follow him after he got off of work to see where he went. Well, she did that alright -- and busted him cheating. They got into a big argument. I feel strangely guilty, although I know that his cheating had nothing to do with me.
I have been hanging out with one of my exes, J, recently. It is nice to have her as a friend. She invited me to meet her new girlfriend tonight, but I declined. I have to get up early to head out to Texas.
I received a very nice e-mail to my Yahoo! account, which I don't check that often these days. It was from a person who had read my blog and e-mailed me to compliment me on it and the progress I've made over the past few years. If you're out there reading this oh anonymous blog responder, I just wanted to let you know your letter brought a smile to my face. :D Thanks!
I have been working on MP3-ifying the rest of my CD collection. I now have an iPod that will hold all of my music, so I am anxious to get it all on there.
Oh well, I have to get up early to go to work. 'Night!

Pandora is wicked-cool. Feed it names of artists and names of songs you like. It plays them (for free) and plays music it deems similar to your tastes. Sure, it doesn't recognize
The Philosopher Kings, but every other artist I plugged in was found and absorbed. It has suggested some bands I have never heard of, but seriously dig.

Champagne, potato chips and YahtzeeBeen working hard. Had only two days off the entire month of December.
For New Year's, I went over to D's brother's place. I played Yahtzee with D, her brother B and her mom. We ate potato chips and French onion dip while watching the ball drop in Times Square (time delayed for the mountain time zone) and toasted with champagne I picked up at
Argonaut. I had to be at work at 5am (which meant I needed to get up at 3am in order to get ready and drive out there), so after the toast, I headed home.
I miss New York and the east coast. So much so that I am looking for jobs there. I was offered a job literally _in_ Times Square back in 2002, but I turned it down. All for love.... ::sigh::
I am meeting a Russian girl, "I," tomorrow night. She is a friend of a friend, who thought we should meet. Strangely, our mutual friend (A) has no idea that I semi-speak Russian. Our friend just thought we'd get along. I feel kinda weird about the whole situation, considering our mutual friend (A) has told "I" all about me, including showing her several pictures of me from my web site. I hardly know anything about her, besides the fact that she is a lesbian and that she is Russian.
Oh well, I better get some sleep -- the last two nights I only got 4 hours of sleep and I am exhausted.
'night!
