Link/Tip of the day:What happens when you get 80 friends from the internet to wear blue polos and khakis, and then you all go into a Best Buy?
Hilarity ensues!

More boring stuff about my life....Work has been interesting these past few weeks, that is for sure. Tomorrow will be the culmination of all of our company's fears: the vote. Management has been decidedly against the idea, whereas the peons (us worker-types) have been mostly for it. I do have to say that in the past month, I've gotten more mail from my own company than I have _ever_ received in the past. Come to think of it, I don't think I've _ever_ received a single piece of mail. Not one. Until this issue came up.
I will be an impartial observer to the whole thing. I report to work at 12:30 and won't leave until the votes have been tallied, sometime after 8pm. Should be an interesting experience, for sure.
I've been to and from court the past few months -- all over this ticket I got back in February. First they cancel my court date. Then they reschedule it for a month later. Then I show up, and ask to speak to a city attorney. They schedule the attorney's meeting out another month (that was today). After talking to the city attorney today, we set a trial date(!) for June 13th. Great. All for a very minor accident that happened on Feb. 15th. They sure take their sweet time, that's for sure.
Tomorrow I will go hang out with J and A, who are now engaged. The last time we went to play pool, J proposed to A. The whole event was pretty cool. We got pictures and all.
On Thurs, Br's daughter Je graduates from middle school. Je was nice enough to invite me the last time we had dinner together, which was about 2 weeks ago.... I will bring the camera and hopefully get a few pics of the event.
May 19th I will be doing a wedding photoshoot. Some friends of mine from work are tieing the knot, and when they found out I am an amateur photographer, they asked me to "do" their wedding.
Fucking FilterKeys. I couldn't turn the thing off earlier. Bleh, Micro$loth, I hate you.
I have been e-mailing an old friend from USA TODAY. Nope, it isn't N, who I've been in contact with constantly, but another friend who is "cool" with me being me. She and I have been plotting on how I can get back to the east coast and back into the publishing technology business. I have even been looking at places on craigslist in anticipation of moving back "home."
